Alanah Leger

“I’m just a small town girl with big dreams.”

Alanah Leger is a published poet in two anthologies:  Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans 2003 Edition, and A Celebration of Young Poets South-Fall 2005. She has been writing poetry and short stories since the young age of 10. Alanah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work.  She is a member of the Writers Guild of Acadiana. Alanah is from the small town of Frilot Cove, LA, but currently resides in New Iberia, LA with her husband and their beautiful daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing poetry, and movie nights with her family.
